Billing Policy
Elysian Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice.
RECALLS, Children under 16, DVA, pension & concession/Health Care card holders
will be BULK BILLED.
We accept cash, Eftpos, Visa, or MasterCard. Unfortunately, we do not accept
American Express. We kindly request that accounts are paid at time of consultation.
Medicare rebates are processed at reception for your convenience.

Dr Najwa Mohammed
FRACGP
Since December 2000 ,
Dr Najwa Mohammed has been the most dedicated and consistent female GP serving the community of Bribie Island and surrounding areas .
Dr Najwa , founder of Elysian Medical Centre, has a passion for all aspects of general medicine, ranging from ante natal care , paediatrics , the unique group of the millennials in our area- whom she has been honoured to be their GP since they were born , to men and woman’s health . mental health , managing chronic disease and the elderly .
With her wisdom , her exceptional knowledge of general medicine and her unparalleled experience she has acquired from working in the community for more than two decades , she practices medicine of the highest quality
Dr Niall Graham
MBChB,
Niall graduated from the University of Liverpool, England in 2014.
He subsequently worked in several medical and surgical specialities, including Cardiology and Palliative care, before undertaking surgical training in Belfast.
Following this he worked in Emergency Medicine in Belfast prior to making the move to Australia.
He has has since worked in both Emergency Medicine and General Practice, in metro, semi-rural and remote regions, registered with both ACRRM and ACEM.
He has also completed Medical Aesthetics training in Harley Street, London, specialising in non surgical aesthetic treatments.
Niall has a keen interest in all areas of General Practice, including Cardiology, Mental Health, and Chronic disease management, such as Diabetes.
Dr Thalia Jayasekera
Dr Thalia Jayasekera is interested in all avenues of General Practice but takes particular interest in Mental Health, Children’s and Adolescents’ Health(Completed Sydney Child Health Program -2020), Chronic Disease Management and Skin Cancer Medicine (Completed Advanced Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine- 2022)
Following her graduation in 2012 she has worked in multiple Critical Care settings in Sri Lanka for many years where she completed her Diploma in Critical Care Medicine at the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine. After moving to Australia she has worked in Hospital Emergency Departments in several states before settling down in General Practice.
Thalia is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients and wishes to help empower her patients to make informed healthy lifestyle choices. She strives to be thorough with all her patients and believes preventive medicine is key to living happier, longer and healthier lives.

Dr Lalit Mohan
Dr Lalit Mohan has experience in Cardiology, Accident and Emergency medicine and General practice. Dr Lalit is passionate about all areas of General Practice with special interest in chronic condition management and preventative health. Lalit enjoys watching cricket, movies and travelling. He also speaks Hindi and Russian.
Dr Ensieh Madhkhanesfahani
Dr Ensieh Madhkhansfahani joined Elysian Medical Centre team in March 2023 as a full-time GP Registrar, and is currently working towards fellowship with the RACGP
Dr Ensieh, graduated from Medical school in 2009 in Iran. She has been working as a medical practitioner since then. Working in different fields such as:
- Emergency department
- Geriatric acute care
- Endocrinology department
- Opioid dependency therapy
- Cosmetic dermatology
She has great knowledge and skill for managing various medical conditions in General Practice.
Ensieh moved to Australia with her family in 2019 and was working in Goldcoast with an amazing team of General Practitioners and skin cancer doctors.
Dr Ensieh has keen interest in:
* Geriatric Medicine : Chronic conditions management including hypertension, kidney disease, cognition disorders, asthma, COPD, etc.
* Endocrinology : thyroid disease, diabetes mellitus, osteoporosis.
* Women's health : contraception, antenatal care, abnormal bleeding and infection.
* Paediatrics health : immunisation, regular growth checks, infections, behavioural problems.
* Preventative health: cancer screening, immunisation
* Mental health : depression, anxiety, sleep disorders.
* Dermatology : acne, eczema.
Also she is interested in weight management, iron deficiency management and arranging advanced care directive.
Dr Ensi speaks English and Farsi/Persian.
She is active on spare time in the gym and playing with her son. Running on the beach is one of her favourite activities.

Dr Ramin Habibi
Dr. Ramin Habibi is a highly experienced General Practitioner with over 17 years of expertise in delivering comprehensive medical care. Originally from Iran, Dr. Habibi has successfully managed a wide spectrum of health conditions with a focus on safety and excellence. Now practicing in Australia, he brings a deep understanding of general practice, offering patients the highest standard of care.
Dr.Habibi has a special interest in the management of chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular conditions, rheumatologic disorders, and thyroid problems. By taking a holistic approach, he tailors personalized treatment plans to help patients achieve their best possible health outcomes.

How is this coronavirus spread?

COVID-19 is most likely to spread from person-to-person through:

Close contact with a person while they are infectious or in the 24 hours before their symptoms appeared.

Close contact with a person with a confirmed infection who coughs or sneezes.

Touching objects or surfaces (such as door handles or tables) contaminated from a cough or sneeze from a person with a confirmed infection, and then touching your mouth or face.

Patient’s who meet the current national triage protocol criteria for suspected COVID-19

Patient’s isolating themselves at home on the advice of a medical practitioner

Patient’s who have been travelling overseas with the last 14 days or have been in contact with anyone who has been travelling from overseas or are showing symptoms; Sore throat, running nose, shortness of breath or high fevers
All patient’s who fit the above criteria with be Bulk Billed for over the phone Tele-Consultations with the doctor.
For patient’s requesting over the phone consultations but do not fit the criteria as above, consultations will be $35, equivalent to a standard medicare rebate.
